| You know how Polar Bears like to splash around in icy cold water? Well they must be nuts! Likewise the five riders who made it to the December 13th. Polar Bear Xmas party and toy drive. Despite the glazed bridges and soaking rain, everyone made a safe trip but this rider has never seen Gortex so thoroughly drenched. The good news is it washed off all that nasty salt from the previous weekend. | |
| Holiday Spirit is in full swing at Brian's H-D. After you check out with your gift purchases, take 'em to the Gift Wrap table where Bucks County H.O.G will wrap them for you (proceeds to MDA). This webmaster is happy they'll even wrap gifts you bought eleswhere too! | |
| After all the shopping, no need to go hungry. There's a Free Lunch of Ham Sanwhiches, upstairs. | |
| For dessert, stop by the MDA Bake Sale where Megan has a table full of Holiday Treats. Take some home too. | |
| And after you've shopped for everyone else, don't forget to tell Santa what YOU want. BCH Member Joel B. of Expressions Photography is there to make a memorable photo with Santa. Click Here to visit Joel's brand new web site.

Has Tom I. traded his Harley for a cool hi-lift truck!? Not to worry, Tom is only borrowing the truck from his employer. (Kathy W. photo) |

On Sunday the sixth, Brian's H-D and Bucks Country H.O.G gave back to their community at Washington Crossing
Historic Park. They lost a great deal of State funding and needed someone to complete the restoration of the flag poles at the visitors center. The poles hold the flags for the original thirteen colonies and the 13 star American flag but were rusting and in need of paint.

It was cold and had snowed the night before but the park wanted to complete the repairs in advance of the Christmas

The Polar Bear ride to Montgomeryville is traditionally cold and wintery. Hopefully break-downs aren't the latest tradition. Last week Wayne, this week "Fletch" couldn't unlock his fork. One call got a haul from good friend Paul. Later, they disassembled, oiled the tumblers and put it back together. Final diagnosis ... a clog of LINT in the barrel of the KEY. Next time "Fletch", keep that key away from your navel! :8) |
 |
About 15 bikes headed out on a short ride to St. Mary Children's Health Center in Bensalem on Saturday December 5. We had about a 3 hour window with no rain this morning and timed it just right. Hector's classic VW camper van served as a makeshift Santa's sleigh with Hector serving as Santa's very helpful elf. (Connie M. photo) |

Prepared with speakers to seranade the crowd with Christmas music. (looks like our own "Santa" checking them out). (Connie M. photo) |

| Sunday November 29th. started like any other gorgeous October day. Yes, I meant October considering the mild weather which drew a larger than average crowd for the Snydersville, PA leg of the Polar Bear Grand Tour. | |
| As Wayne B's Zumo faded between .mp3 tracks, an unfamiliar percussion was too low to be coming from the speakers. The subsequent squeal confirmed it wasn't to be ignored. An abandoned Gulf station below Lehighton provided convenient and safe parking where a shattered front wheel bearing was diagnosed. Ninety minutes later, "Louie" of Yocum Towing had us loaded on his flatbed. Note the wheel chock dolly that Yocum's utilizes for added security. | |
| The rest finally get under way. Wayne sincerely thanks Kathy W., John W., Mike D., Rob McC., Dennis T., Joe "Black", "Fletch" and Dave H., for insuring my bike and I got a lift, but I wish you would have kept going. It was a shame to waste the end of a great weekend next to the road, instead of on it. | |
 |
If not for the almost naked trees, Sunday the 15th. was more like Spring, than it was mid-November. A couple dozen gather at McD's for the Polar Bear run to Cornucopia, in Port Jervis. |
 |
A couple hundred miles provides endless choices for a return route from the destination. One group followed the Scenic Delaware to cross IN the former canal aquaduct, now known as the Roebling Bridge. |
 |
Their goal was Scranton, PA, and the Nay Aug Park, for a view of the gorge and waterfalls from the David Wenzel Tree House. Named for a former Scranton Mayor and Viet Nam Vet., the Tree House allowed him to take in the splendor of the gorge despite limbs severed in the war. |
 |
The park is also adjacent to the Nay Aug railroad tunnel, Brooks mine - a model intended to draw industry to the Scranton area a century ago, and the Pioneer - a gravity railroad car that ran on the Pennsylvania Coal Company railroad, between Pitston and Hawley, PA. |
 |
Saturday, Nov 14th, about 14 members took a short ride over to the Red Cross Shelter in Levittown, to serve lunch to the residents and give them the $850 in gift cards we collected. (The state will match that amount also). As per the yearly tradition, it rained, but we were lucky it stopped before we had to head over, leaving only some wet roads. (Connie M. photo) |

The kids quickly overcome any shyness and ask to sit on the bikes, and their smiles make our day. (Connie M. photo) |

| We ordered a couple extra steaks to go and set out to pay a surprise visit to Daryl W. (a surprise to Daryl, General Lee and Dave conspired together to set it up). Daryl said he's slowly on the mend and we all wished him the best in his recovery. (Connie M. photo) | |

The 29th Annual Delaware Valley Abate "For the Kids" Toy Run was November 1st. After gathering at Brian's H-D under very cloudy skies, about 35 bikes pulled out and headed down to Delaware Ave. (Connie M. photo) |

 |
We didn't go through the hospital this year, just up to the front doors due for safety reasons. With the swine flu going around, the kids health couldn't be risked . They were all looking out the windows and made signs thanking everyone. Eli's dad organized the raffle when Dave won the bike a few months back. He's back in the hospital and needs everyone's prayers. (Connie M. photo) |
 |
Pierre Robert from WMMR also makes this event every year. Dave D. got a big thank you from Pierre when he was told that Dave is being deployed again in a few days. It wouldn't be an ABATE event without Flea. (Connie M. photo) |
| October 25th. marked the kickoff of the Polar Bear Club with about 20 riders congregating at McDonald's. | |
| It was the classic, crisp, clear, colorful, cool Fall day, a great way to start the season. | |
| Up to 500 riders will meet at the Cape May VFW, getting in line early still leaves time to get aquainted with folks you haven't seen all summer. | |
| This group always makes a point when in Cape May home of the south Jersey fishing industry, to have a nice lunch of ...Chinese food! Afterwards, Road Captain, Dave H. meanered through more fall foilage ... well, maybe not only fall colors but this house is all ready for Halloween (I wonder if they paint it red and green for Christmas. :8) | |
| The annual Chile Cook-Off at Brian's H-D is a favorite of this Webmaster. Alas, while some early-birds and contestants prepared their secret recipes, emergency vehicles were closing the road on either side of the Dealership, Saturday. ("OnlyOneRolma" Photo) | |

Sunday, Oct. 11th was this years Fall Finders Run. Beautiful clear skies, but a little chilly. Rick S. planned the ride portion with questions on observations made in several local cemeteries. Some of the morning volunteers, up bright and early and smiling.

With about 80 tickets sold, plus various chinese auction items, 50/50 proceeds, silent auctions, and vendor donations we were able to provide many hours of counseling for the residents. Total donation of $1605 from our generous Bucks County HOGS and friends. There was plenty of lunch for the group, a great day to picnic outside. (Connie M. photo) |

Sunday (10/02) was a superb day and there was no excuse for not getting out. No, "work" is not a valid excuse ... after all, what better sick call for a HOG then to claim Swine Flu! :8)
(Disclaimer: Musings of a Professional Liar, do not really try that on your boss).Fall is springing around us, as evidenced by the turning leaves in this photo and with cooler nights this week, it should be a glorious "Fall Finders" Ride Sunday the 11th. | |

While it hasn't coincided with the State H.O.G rally for a couple years, the "Roar to the Shore" is still a going concern in Wildwood. This year occurring September 10th to the 13th., was attended by a group from BC HOG who are literally "having a ball". ("OnlyOneRolma" photo) |

| On Monday Sept. 7 a group from BCHOG rode down to center city for the MDA Telethon at the Courtyard Marriot in Philadelphia. Bill, Kathy, Jackie, Jen, Judy, and Patti presented the check from Brian's H-D & BCHOG's fund raising to MDA for $62,913.91. (Kathy W. photo) | |
| Tom B. writes; "This year's Crab ride photos ... pretty much the same as any year". NOT SO, Tom ... I didn't see one crab in those photos, that I saw before. And so the annual tradition continued on September 5th., with the trek down to Waterman's Crab House. (Tom B. photo) | |
| Just like a snowflake, no two crab eaters are alike (Notice, I didn't say no two crabs are alike because they all look the same to me). Mike D. takes advantage of the tables edge to drop all the nasty crab by product right on the floor. Notice how clean he's managed to keep his hands. It's clear Pat P. has done this before. (Tom B. photo)

| John W. just doesn't worry about the shell, and notice how Bill M. uses a tray to mark his territorial bounty, so there's no disputing where his crabs stop and the next persons starts. (Tom B. photo)
| |
| This photo of the 2009 Crab Riders guarantees there'll be plenty of crabs again next year!! (Yes, ask me how I know.) The reason I can say that is because a crabs worst fear - "Fletch" - did not make the trip this year. :8) (Tom B. photo)

Saturday August 29 the skies were threatening but Rob McC., Kathy W., Bonnie H., and Mike Mc. took a chance and had a very enjoyable day with the members of Valley Forge HOG for their Scavenger Hunt Ride. (Mike Mc. photo) |

Luck was with them and it became a nice day in Montgomery County. Hmmm., Rt. 29, anyone see Joe H.? (Mike Mc. photo) |

Later that day, BCH members set off to enjoy a special evening including a pre-game party and Trenton Thunder game - complete with VIP parking, arranged by "OnlyOneRolma"'s daughter (and Brian's H-D associate), Jen. The only thing she couldn't pull off was arranging for no rain. (Connie M. photo) |

A very popular annual Poker Run is organized by the Red Knights NJ Chapter 14, held this year on August 16. Participants line up at Brian's H-D to sign-in and select their first card. |
 |
The ever present Jackie B. dispatches Brian's trailer destined for the Yardville V.F.W post where there'll be prizes, vendors, live band, games, 50/50, and a Bar-B-Q. |
 |
One thing that makes the Red Knights run so unique and popular is the use of local fire companies for Card Stops. A constant flow of motorcycles enter the parking lot at the Pennington fire house. |
 |
Summer weather was slow to catch up this year but coming to a head over the last week, the abundant tree canopy was much appreciated on the ride. The poor HOG on the right apparently didn't avoid the heat and sun enough. :-) |

 |
Between July 25th and August 3, 5 couples departed for New England and Nova Scotia. They rode hard the first day to Saco, ME in order to have time to tour Arcadia National Park the following afternoon. The second day was mostly rain followed by thick fog. The normal spectacular view atop Cadillac Mountain was only fog. |
 |
They boarded the "Cat" out of Bar Harbor the third morning. Again it was fog and rain which turned into a storm as they headed for Nova Scotia. The bikes are packed within inches of each other in the belly of the "Cat" (shudder the thought of rough seas), however the passenger amenities of this ship are superb. |
 |
After a surprising quick pass through Canadian customs in Yarmouth, they took on the Nova Scotia roads ... not what we would consider "Motorcycle Friendly". Bumpy, poorly patched, even some fresh slippery mud and sparsely populated. There are virtually no intersections or stops but almost straight, flat roads and boring trees for miles. In between, you are rewarded with quintessential fishing villages such as renowned Peggy's Cove. |
 |
After the bicycle converts of the group were treated to a demonstration at old Sherbrooke Village and the customary Dealer visit, the group layed over in Dartmouth/Halifax. |
 |
The next morning included a tour of the Citadel and Halifax Gardens before continuing to Sydney with a stop at Saint Peters Canal. (L-R) John & Janet B. (put down that phone for a momment!), Dave H., Joe S. "TJ" & Vicki B., Kate H. (rare), unknown French man, Marie A., Penny B. |
 |
The next day was the highlight of the trip (at least for the Webmaster), the Cabot Trail. Be sure to top off before hitting this stretch since premium fuel is scarce and the offered octane "boost" additive doesn't cut it. |
 |
The Cabot Trail is reminiscent to the Pacific Coast Highway, but unfortunately not nearly as long. |
 |
At the western base of the CT, the group laid over in the perfect setting offered by Ocean Chalets in Cheticamp. Everyone in Nova Scotia is incredibly friendly and when asked they replied because outside of fishing, the primary industry is tourism. In Cheticamp the lodge owner built us a camp fire and invited us to join their family for a dinner of fresh (huge) crabs. |
 |
Having already enjoyed our own bar-b-que, we opted to enjoy a peaceful sunset. The next days agenda included the Glendora distillery, Iverness Coal & Rail museum, and Museum of Industry. Dave and Kate H. took the Ferry to Prince Edward Island to see the location of Anne of Green Gables, but were hammered by one of the storms that hovered near us the entire trip. The layover was in New Glasgow. |
 |
The last day in NS included Annapolis Royal Gardens (the mosquitoes feasted on Dave H.), and Shand museum before lunching in Digby. Those scallops will spoil you for any others once you've tried them. We boarded the afternoon ferry to Saint Johns. About this ferry ... tractor trailers loaded with seafood create an undeniable odor! The next morning we visited the Reversing Falls and lunched at Helen's in Machias, ME as recommend by the Mad Maps New England edition. Great food but avoid letting the women walk to the nearby flea market or they're liable to come back with something dumb and too big for already overpacked Harley's like a bird house Kate holds! |
 |
Lodging was Waterville, ME, after a retake of Bar Harbor and Arcadia sans fog. Then on to Greenfield, MA. The last day we visited the Bridge of Flowers and Shelburne Falls before spending a couple hours learning about the Shaker Village in Hancock. A little more than 3,000 miles and as always its great to be on vacation however this Webmaster was moderately disappointed by Nova Scotia. A lot of poorly paved, straight and level roads to get to the highlights which were over in a heartbeat. |

That same day was the (July 26) Rolling Thunder NY ride. A group of 22 bikes w/26 riders set off under the threat (an empty one, it turns out) of rain. How many Bucks HOGS does it take to change a tire? Jeff & Judy picked up a couple nails going through the toll booth. Thanks to some well prepared members, a plug kit, pump and fix a flat made the delay only about 20 minutes. The tired, hungry group stopped for some refreshments and dinner at Fran's in New Hope, and the weather gods were with us. The last rider made it home in the garage before the skies opened up and let loose. (Connie M. photo) |

| No, this is not a police escort! Rather it's a group of bikers (not BC HOG) who thought it's ok to block intersections and run red lights, just because they're riding a charity ride. The police relayed that at an elderly person and others were frightened and reported they were "taking over the town". This is not the way we want to present ourselves, and paints a bad opinion of bikers to the police and the community. Please, obey traffic laws and courtesy, the same as if you were alone and in a car. (Connie M. photo) | |
| The weekend of July 18-19 was the Ramapo 500. This is a favorite of your Webmaster because the guys at Ramapo are THE Pros at coming up with wonderful 500 mile tours on "Roads less traveled". They are New York based and many of their routes include plenty of wonderful lake scenes. | |
| This year was billed as the "Ramapo Covered Bridge Tour". To us from BCH, it was a combination of our own Covered Bridge Poker Run, the 2008 PA Rally and the MDA Ride for Life. The reason being the woping 17 covered bridges included many from our own Bucks County, several from the Valley Forge area and a few from Berks, with the camp site being around Reading. | |
| Ramapo is the same club that brings us the challenges of the Crotona Midnight Run in February and the "500" can be just as challenging, such as this heavily stoned farm lane which seemed to go on forever. The worst was at the end as the road slopes down causing the stones to bunch up several inches thick. | |
| Ramapo "tricks" even include sending us down barricaded and closed roads, but there's plenty of twisty canopy cover such as this road, as well. | |
| Bucks County HOG took the prize for the furthest distance club. Dave H. holds up the plaque. | |
| The 2009 Ramapo riders; "Fletch", Barry O., Dave H., Wayne B. (caught on film - rare), Rob McC., "TJ" B., Joe H. (welcome back), and Dennis T. Not in photo was Bernie W. who was setting up his camp site. The rest "camped" in the Hampton Inn. | |

The weather couldn't have been better, especially for the middle of July. Hot enough and quite comfortable humidity level to enjoy some of the finer New Jersey roads. |

| The Friday Night TGIF Dinner Ride of July 3 started off with a stop at 911 Garden of Reflection memorial in Lower Makefield Township. A very well attended ride. 21 people 13 bikes. The two fountain sprays behind the riders, represent the "Twin Towers". (Kathy W. photo)
| |
| At beginning of the pathway leading to the fountain is a steel beam obtained from the wreckage of the Twin Towers. The outer ring encircling the fountain contains inscriptions of the names of 2,973 individuals who lost their lives to the 9-11 tragedy. The inner ring pays trubute to the 17 Bucks Countians who were among the victims.. (Kathy W. photo)

BC Hog certainly did their part toward a really big Million Mile Monday. Several organized rides were conducted throughout the day. One group made it an all day event, heading south to Cape May, with a stop at the Wildwood dealer. Russ appears to be stuck against the wall and it has everyone's attention. (Jim "Skid" H. photo) |
 |
Aha! Russ was getting the hang of his Segway. By the end of Monday, HOG would announce a total of 4,373,937 miles, but I don't think Russ's Segway miles counted. :-) (Jim "Skid" H. photo) |

The group boarded the Cape May/Lewes Ferry to Delaware. (Jim "Skid" H. photo) |

They traveled north to meet up with HOG Regional Manager, Ben W. (L-R) Mike, Ben, "Roon". (Jim "Skid" H. photo) |
 |
Another group ride started 8:30 at Brian's H-D. Jack S, Wayne & Barb W, Mike McM, and Kathy W traveled the back roads to Clinton, NJ. Getting back to Brian's to meet our next group at 12:30. (Kathy W. photo) |

Lunch was at the Country Place in Perkasie and ended up back at Brian's at 4:30 for the next group. (Kathy W. photo) |
 |
Ken R, Ken H, Ken B, Wayne W, Kathy W, Chris H, and Mike McM eagerly await the arrival of the 40 or so bikes that are traveling from Sturgis MI. Mike McM & Kathy W did about 320 miles for Million Mile Monday. Ben W (HOG Regional Manager) and his group arrived around 6:50 with a large crowd there to greet them. Among them was Bonnie H & her puppy dog who traveled the whole distance of 720 miles. She got right back on her bike to attempt the Iron Butt Challenge. (Kathy W. photo) |
 |
Many went on to meet Moose's group of 20 bikes at Tony Luke's in Philadelphia. All miles traveled 290. What a great day to get out to ride with fellow members. (Jim "Skid" H. photo) |
 |
This photo (at Tony Luke's) was posted to the International HOG Web Site. The caption reads; "Buck's Co HOG out for their annual cheese steak run... what else would you expect for Philadelphia. This was just a small part of our chapter all day MMM event". (Rob McC. photo) |
| Sunday, June 28th., 14 bikes w/18 riders went to the "Camp Joy" poker run to support the camp for special needs children. Beautiful weather, great company, slight Rob McC. led detour (always an adventure). During the card stop at Helen's deli, lots of conversation about the "little" detour we just took. In Rob's defense, he had insider information about a HUGE pothole that we were able to avoid. (Connie M. photo)

| Johnstown, PA once again experienced severe flooding between June 25 and 28, 2009. But this time it wasn't water, rather a couple hundred thousand bikers during the annual "Thunder in the Valley" rally.
| |
| Billed as; "200,000 Friends" by the townsfolk, it's quite common to see locals mingling with bikers at the vendors and other event locations. With great riding throughout the Pennsylvania mountains and plenty of parking within the cities concentrated grid, it's a refreshing alternative to those jam packed rallies.
| |
| Of course there's some interesting memorials and museums dedicated to the floods, but recently the St. Michael's historic district "cottages" formally occupied by names such as Carnegie, Mellon and Frick are undergoing restoration. Once part of the South Fork Hunting and Fishing club which is usually considered to have neglected the dam responsible for the 1889 flood.

| Wayne & Penny B., Joe "Black" S., Marie A., Janet & John Ball stop at the Eureka Mine #40 overlook in Winber. Winber was a windfall for John & Wayne who love exploring mining operations and found some significant remnants such as the huge cleaning facility (inset) hidden below the trees. They vowed to go back when the brush is gone to find the mine portal.
| |
| One of the best kept secrets and values (free) in the area is the Mt. Assisi Monastery, formerly steel tycoon, Charles Schwab's palatial summer home. With it's beautiful Sunken Gardens and now owned by the Franciscans, it's a must see, especially if your significant other has already tolerated several mine sites. :-)

The weekend of June 19-22, several BCH members and alumni did a 4 day, 1500 mile trip to Bulls Gap, Tn., for the Flat Track Races. The highlight was not the destination, but rather the ride there with Rt. 33 in West Virginia and other awesome roads. Paul G., Doug H., Tony G., and "Fletch" along Rt. 33 on top of West Virginia mountain. (Doug H. photo) |

The 2009 BCH Covered Bridge Poker Run of the previous day was still fresh on everyone's mind at the June Members Meeting. Rob McC. presented the "Best Represented Club" award to Mike S. Director, Burlington H.O.G for the eighth year running. (Connie M. photo) |
 |
Rick S., Wayne W., Dave M. and Jim M. were announced as new Road Captains.

Several members grabbed a bite after the meeting. Bill R. said he is always too full for desert so this time he was skipping dinner and having dessert ... deep fried brownies and fried cheesecake ... and he ate every bite of it! (Connie M. photo) |

The 2009 Covered Bridge Poker Run occurred June 14. You can zoom in on the collage photos at: http://gallery.me.com/exprepa#100256 . More photos will appear soon on the Poker Run page. (Joel B. photo) BCH and Brian's H-D wishes to thank all the participants and volunteers for supporting our annual event. Unfortunately, Mother Nature wrecked havoc on several roads Saturday, forcing closures and last minute changes. We apologize for any confusion and hope the awesome catered lunch this event is famous for, along with entertainment and after ride activities, made up for any inconvenience. |

| Saturday June 6 was the Millville Bike Fest and show.
| |
| Incorporated with the Milleville festival is their "Tour de Swamp" Poker Run. While not exactly a swamp, the run does parallel New Jersey wetlands, lakes and waterways. At this marina, there were no alligators but from the looks of the flying saucer on the banks, there may have been a better chance for aliens. :-)
| |
 |
One detriment to being a volunteer for our primary "Signature Event", the Covered Bridge Poker Run, is that you don't get to enjoy the route. Therefore, it's been a tradition to take just the volunteers out for a guided tour, so they can enjoy the route with friends, too. If the weather is as nice on June 14 as it was the day of this volunteer ride on May 30, it will be a fantastic event. A really good assorted group of volunteers helping out, and Rob says there were quite a few more that just couldn't make the ride that day. (Connie M. photo) |

The third weekend of May saw a dozen BCH members and alumni get together in Vegas to visit John and Maryanne M. who moved out west several years ago. Day trips were made to Utah, Arizona, as well as Nevada. |
 |
"Little Johnnie" was glad to see us. By coincidence, our visit coincided with the Nevada state rally. |
 |
John said to come in May to avoid the heat. As expected, considering the source of advice, it was record breaking temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. The new bridge is going across the Hoover Dam and the threatening water level is evident by the white border around the lake. |
 |
Of course the Vegas strip was a popular diversion. |
 |
Within a days ride some spectacular scenery is to be had. |
| Group shot from the Livengrin Poker Run (First leg of the 2009 BCH poker Run tour). The weather was cool and the rain stayed off so the roads were awesome. A number of new and non chapter members joined in on this event. (Rob McC. photo)

It was HORRENDOUS weather the weekend of April 25-26 (for a Polar Bear end-of-season party). Despite the unBEARable sunshine and record breaking highs, "Fletch", Wayne B., Rob McC., Dave H., "Flea" and Bill C. represented the Langhorne contingent. In fact they appear to be skipping hibernation this year having already completed metamorphous, however unlike a butterfly, they have not come out any more beautiful. :-) |
 |
Earlier in the day it was another annual party at Brian's H-D. This one, the MDA Packet Turn-in, with Beth R. and Al D. ready to exchange your packet with a handful of merchandise vouchers. |

Across the aisle, Megan Y. and "OnlyOneRolma" are ready to customize your jackets and vest at the "Patch Clinic". |

The morning news weatherman called it the day people had been waiting all year for and indeed it was, with pure sunshine warming us to 78 degrees, and motorcycles were everywhere. (Connie M. photo) |
 |
It was even warm enough for Judy S., Florida resident (and Webmaster's sister), and her first motorcycle ride. Since it was her first, we kept it short ... just a few hundred miles, including lunch and a view from Roadie's atop Penn's Peak. She'll sleep like a log tonight! |
 |
The next day was not nearly as nice, but spring is definitely here so a group headed to Washington's Crossing for the Norton bike show. Dave H., "TJ" B. and "Fletch" enjoy looking at nearly a hundred different bikes on display but nobody was interested in trading their Harley! |
 |
After the show the group had to decide on where to ride and what to eat. Somebody suggested the previous days photo of Judy S., from Roadie's looked like fun. Thank goodness it was the last day of the weekend, because Wayne B. couldn't help thinking about the movie, "GroundHog Day" as he follows TJ and Dave back up to Penn's Peak. |
 |
The 2009 Polar Bear season ended at Cape May, Sunday the 5th. It's just as well. The sun was out in force with 64 degree temps, and not fit for a bunch of winter bears. But, I think everyone enjoyed the great weather, just the same. There's one more gathering at the April 25th. Polar Bear "Holiday Party", then it's hibernation until next October. |

April 4th., Tony Baker presents the MSF Guide to Group Riding. Audience participation is a big part of the course |

No "Girlie Men" here as BCH Crotona participants receive awards at the Polar Bear destination known for it's "Girlie Girls", Hooter's.
